I have worked in Medicine since 1993. I have been a Physician Assistant since 2002. I have primarily worked in Orthopedics ranging from general Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Trauma, and Total Joints. I have always enjoyed Emergency Room and Urgent Care medicine and have worked them along with my Orthopedic jobs. This experience was helpful when the opportunity came up to be the Clinic Director for Orthopedics Now. It’s a combination of everything that I have done.
My wife and I have 5 children ranging in ages 21-35. I have been active in coaching little league sports as well as helping the team trainers with high school and college sports.
In my spare time my wife and I enjoy a healthy lifestyle and spend a lot of our free time at the gym. I have coached and trained fitness and bodybuilding competitors. I am a big proponent of preventive medicine and keeping the body healthy with good diet and exercise.
Barry is also the director of Orthopedics NOW!, you can learn more about KCBJ’s Urgent Care here.
