J. Clinton Walker, MDOrthopedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Physician
I became a part of Kansas City Bone & Joint Clinic in August of 2008. I have always been attracted to orthopedics and upper extremity problems in particular. There’s something satisfying about the approach of taking someone who’s active, has an injury and can’t do their activities, and then helping get them back to their activities.
I have a special interest in upper extremity conditions. Prior to joining our office, I completed my hand and upper extremity fellowship at the Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis, Indiana and am an active member in American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) as well as the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). I am Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery with additional specialty certification for Hand Surgery.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Pittsburg State University where I also played baseball. I completed my medical degree and orthopaedic surgery residency program at Washington University in St. Louis.
One of the most enjoyable things about my practice is seeing someone happy with their results and being able to resume their life activities. To see somebody smile and go back to everything that they want to do is kind of the ultimate satisfaction.
On a personal note, I enjoy baseball, gardening and the great outdoors.
