Trevor Yakle, APRN
I have worked as a Nurse Practitioner for Kansas City Bone and Joint Clinic since April of 2019. With a background as a registered nurse, I place a strong emphasis on patient education. I also assist in surgery, which contributes to my ability to provide continuity of care. My focus is on getting our patients on the road to recovery while minimizing down time.
I work with Dr. Thomas Samuelson and Dr. Brandon Barnds in the clinic where patients can make appointments with me for initial evaluation, injections, diagnostic testing, and guidance through diagnosis and recovery. Currently my practice interests include general orthopedics with an emphasis on the shoulder and knee joints.
I am a Kansas native but completed my undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees at Research College of Nursing in Kansas City, Missouri. My enthusiasm for sports medicine and orthopedics developed early through my love of playing sports. When I am not at the clinic, I love spending time with my family, cheering on the Kansas City sports teams, and taking time to travel.
