I did my undergraduate at St. Mary’s in Texas and KU med school.
What extracurricular activities did you participate in high school or college?
Roller hockey
As a child, did you want to be a doctor? If not, what occupation?
I wanted to be a Veterinarian or a Doctor. I was inspired by my uncle who was a small town doctor to go into medicine.

What do you like most about your job?
Helping people get past difficult times and returning to their activities or life style they want.
What is a common misconception about your field of work?
I hate being late, but I always am … to everything.
What do you like about living in the Kansas City Area?
I like the small town atmosphere you get in this large city. It has great options for leisure activities and entertainment. ..And how good the Royals are.

How many children do you have?
I have two young boys that love sports and being outside. They are the light in my life.

2 dogs and recently gained a garden snake.

KU Jayhawks
If you were on an island, what three items would you bring?
A tub of sun screen (I burn so easily), blanket (you can do so much with a blanket, right!?), and freeze dried ice cream.

Pizza or Sushi Roll… Spicy Tuna roll.
