Our office staff has decided that we would like to do something as a group to give back to the Ronald McDonald House at Children’s Mercy. There is staff here at KCBJ that have even stayed in the house or utilized the room in the past and several of our staff has a heart for serving as you can tell by other projects we have participated in.
We have put together 90 snack packs and 2 cases of water. Each bag contains a juice box or bottle of water, fruit cup, raisins, granola bars, fruit snacks, pretzels, cheese crackers, cheez-its, instant oatmeal and a spoon or a similar grouping of snacks. These snack packs are for parents and siblings of the kids that are in the hospital. They are looking for healthy, quick snacks for these families so that they can get back to being with their sick or injured children.
Our “Packing Party” took place March 5th and the packs were delivered the next day.
