Operation Walk Update: 6 Months After Bilateral Total Knee Replacements

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and we can see her smile and the twinkle in her eye! We were fortunate enough today to see Janet Sitzmann in our office for her 6 month follow up after her bilateral total knee replacements performed by Dr. Jeffrey Salin. It was said in her video testimonial prior to her surgery that her life would be “dramatically changed” and she reports that it has been. She no longer requires a cane when walking, she has lost weight due to the ability to increase her exercise routine and she has been able to return to her desired quality of life. She even shared with us that she was able to travel overseas to see her first grandchild being born. This success story was made possible through her hard work and Operation Walk USA. All the surgeons, hospitals, nurses, therapists and other staff donated their time to this wonderful annual event and Kansas City Bone & Joint Clinic looks forward to participated again in December 2013.
