No Personal Computer?

You can still use our Patient Portal and Website!

Not everyone has a home computer, laptop, or tablet available for their use. The good news is, if you have a friend or relative offer to let you use theirs, or even a library card, you can easily set up an account on Kansas City Bone & Joint Clinic’s Patient Portal free of charge.

How? Easy….get yourself set up with an email address on one of the Web Mail service providers such as Yahoo, Hotmail (MSN), Gmail (Google), or Bing email. You will only need some basic information to create your account with them.

I recently set up a new account myself. It took me about 8 minutes total. Here is the information they required from me:

  • First Name – Last Name
  • Gender
  • Birthday
  • Language Preference
  • Alternate email OR phone number
  • Zip Code

You will be asked to choose or decide what you want your “User ID” or “Login Name” to be (this will become part of your email address). Next, you decide what you want your “Password” to be. Lastly, you usually are asked to choose one or two “Secret Questions” (i.e. what was the make of your first car, or where did you spend your childhood summers?) Be sure to keep that information where you can refer to it but no one else can, and you are all set.

Now you are ready to create your account on the KCBJ website. Just click on the Patient Portal box on the right side of the homepage. It is a secure way to complete your health forms before coming to the office for your appointment, ask our staff a question, pay your bill, or request a refill. Click here to discover more information regarding the patient portal.
