Brachial Plexus Injury
A Brachial Plexus injury, often referred to as a “Burner” or “Stinger”, occurs when the head is hit and forced in one direction while the shoulder is forced in another direction. This blow may injure nerves in the neck and shoulder, resulting in a brachial plexus injury . Football and wrestling are the most common sports associated with this type of injury.
