Dr. John "Jack" Carlisle joined Kansas City Bone & Joint Clinic's physician group practice in August 2010. His privileges will include Research Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, St. Luke's South, St. Joseph Medical Center, Mid-America Surgery Institute, and SurgiCenter of Kansas City. Dr. Carlisle's fellowship training with the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic and Steadman-Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado, was dedicated to hip arthroscopy and sports medicine . His specialty interests include minimally invasive management of hip pathology, treatment of sports-related injuries, and keeping active people active.
He remains an active member of the United States Ski and Snowboarding Team Physician Pool, and looks forward to contributing to the care of athletes on both the local and national level.
Dr. Carlisle is a Kansas City native, and looks forward to returning with his family to start his practice in this area. His surgical skills are a significant addition and we welcome Dr. Carlisle to our medical community.
