Dr. Bruce earned his undergraduate degree from KansasStateUniversity and his Medical Degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine in 1992 at the University of Pennsylvania. He joined Kansas City Bone & Joint Clinic, Inc. in July 1988. Dr. Bruce was certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1990. He served as team physician for St. ThomasAquinasHigh School from 1988 to 2001, and Shawnee Mission South and EastHigh Schools from 1990 to 1995. Dr. Bruce has been the orthopaedic surgeon to The Kansas City Ballet since 1996. He has an interest in photography.
